There is reaching, and then there is Dominic Zvada at No. 159. The 49ers jumped the board by 61 and dared it to prove them wrong.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. However the rest shakes out, Ramsey at that price is a win they earned. The 49ers indulged a want in Ramsey while a need in quarterback stayed open.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.
