Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Dolphins spent No. 157 on Tanor Bortolini, a name most had 59 spots down the list.

However the rest shakes out, Jones at that price is a win they earned. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
