There is conviction, and then there is this. The Cowboys took Desmond Watson a full 56 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. No fireworks, but a solid B+.

That Hampton pick is the receipt they will wave around later. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
