The Falcons went off the board in a big way for Will Sheppard, 110 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The Emmanwori pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 3 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
