A costly weekend of dealing drags the Broncos to a D.

If confidence were a draft strategy, the Broncos would have aced it. Zion Logue at pick No. 237 is 31 spots clear of where he belonged. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it.

The Sainristil pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at linebacker and running back. The Sainristil steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
