A costly weekend of dealing drags the Broncos to a D+.

The phones were a trap the Broncos kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The math is unkind, and the D+ follows.

They are betting Kneeland proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They will answer for taking DT-EDGE early while quarterback went begging. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Smith at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
