Call it larceny. Cody Simon sat on the board until the 217th overall pick, and the Patriots did not need to be asked twice.

If Bryant pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The phones were where this weekend was really won. They will answer for taking linebacker early while interior defensive lineman and quarterback went begging.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Bottom line, with Grey Zabel leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
