A costly weekend of dealing drags the Seahawks to a D.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Seahawks took Jordan Travis a full 52 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The Seahawks indulged a want in Bullard while a need in linebacker, tight end and other spots stayed open. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through linebacker.

That Nubin pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, linebacker very much included.
