Collins should have been long gone. The Giants pounced, and earned a B-.

The board owed the Giants one, and it paid up: Alfred Collins, the No. 56 name on the board, sitting there at slot 105 like a gift left on the doorstep. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. If Dart pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
