The steal of the weekend belongs to the Steelers and Mondon Jr.: B.

Somebody in the 231st pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Steelers sat still while Smael Mondon Jr., the No. 110 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They are betting Sheppard proves the room right and everyone else wrong. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
