The phones sank the 49ers this weekend: D-.

The 49ers torched the value chart for Dominic Zvada, taking him 79 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Spending an early pick on cornerback with quarterback open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They banked enough surplus on Love to cover a lot of smaller sins.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
