For all the boxes ticked, the Bears skipped the loudest one: edge rusher is exactly as bare as it was. The bottom line is a respectable B.

Getting Reese where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
