The Chiefs let Burton fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

Somebody in Round 3, Pick 26 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Chiefs sat still while Jermaine Burton, the No. 62 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Reaching for Hall left real value on the table behind him. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
