McMillan should have been long gone. The Steelers pounced, and earned a B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Steelers were there to profit. Jalen McMillan, the No. 107 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 129th pick. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They will answer for taking offensive lineman early while linebacker and tight end went begging. Every board in the league had Milton III lower, and that gap is the story.

Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
