The 49ers won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: B-.

The 49ers did not so much draft Luke McCaffrey as overpay for him, 53 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

The Wallace steal is the beam this whole class leans on. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
