Jackson should have been long gone. The Bills pounced, and earned a B-.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bills watched Jha'Quan Jackson slide 24 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. It is not that Smith is a bad player; it is that the Bills had louder needs to answer first. The Vaki pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
