Best value of the weekend goes to the Vikings for Alexander: B.

You could see the war room lean forward. Darius Alexander at the Round 5 slot is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with safety chief among the fixes. Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
