The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bears were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. If Sainristil pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

The veteran additions, Will Anderson Jr. chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
