Call it larceny. Smael Mondon Jr. sat on the board until Round 6, Pick 19, and the Lions did not need to be asked twice. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Lions indulged a want in Walker while a need in cornerback, quarterback and other spots stayed open.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
