The Steelers clearly saw something nobody else did in Xavier Truss, taking him 111 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Nolen. The trade work was a quiet net positive.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
