Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B
ValueB+ NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
Good, not great, for the Packers: B.

For all the boxes ticked, the Packers skipped the loudest one: quarterback is exactly as bare as it was. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

If Jackson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. That is an edge rusher worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Dallas Turner
In slot 25 they get a bendy edge with upside at a price that makes it sweeter. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick41 Rnd2 Tyler Nubin
A tidy bit of business in the Round 2 slot, where Tyler Nubin graded well above the range. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick57 Rnd2 Edgerrin Cooper
Edgerrin Cooper in pick No. 57 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick88 Rnd3 Christian Haynes
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Christian Haynes in the 88th overall pick. It fills a real need, too.
Pick91 Rnd3 Khyree Jackson
Khyree Jackson in pick 91 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
