The phones sank the Patriots this weekend: D-.

The Patriots clearly saw something nobody else did in Brady Cook, taking him 89 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Patriots indulged a want in Williams while a need in safety and tight end stayed open. The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

However the rest shakes out, Walker at that price is a win they earned.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, safety very much included.
