You could see the war room lean forward. Roc Taylor at pick 253 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. They will need Collins to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
