You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Broncos did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high.

That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Guyton at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

The Jackson pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
