Nobody dealt better than the Broncos this weekend: A-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Broncos did exactly that with Eyabi Okie-Anoma in No. 207. Add it all up and it grades out a clean A-.

That Jackson pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The Broncos paired the rookies with proven help, T.J. Slaton leading the way.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
