So much rides on Cam Ward that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. However the rest shakes out, Thornton Jr. at that price is a win they earned.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.
