Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Browns spent Round 6, Pick 40 on Xavier Truss, a name the board had a full 75 spots lower.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. That Tuten pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
