Everything else got attention, and quarterback got none. That is a strange way for the Dolphins to leave a draft. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

They will need Slater to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss. They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
