Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Cowboys were there to profit. Nick Emmanwori, the No. 20 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 2, Pick 19. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Alexander has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
