Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the 49ers were there to profit. Omar Cooper Jr., the No. 55 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 92nd overall pick. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
