No fireworks, just a tidy B for the Broncos.

The Broncos did not so much draft Spencer Rattler as overpay for him, 25 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Johnson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The Diontae Johnson pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
