Hopper should have been long gone. The Broncos pounced, and earned a B-.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Broncos watched Ty'Ron Hopper slide 21 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. Hall has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The phones were busy but the ledger stayed level.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
