There is a lot to like until you notice quarterback is still a hole. The Patriots never got to the one that mattered most. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

The Higgins value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
