Nobody else had Dont'e Thornton Jr. anywhere near the 133rd overall pick. The Bears did, by 52 spots, and that gap is the whole story. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
