The Steelers let Green fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.

The Steelers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Renardo Green fell into the 119th overall pick. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. The Steelers indulged a want in Amegadjie while a need in quarterback, edge rusher and other spots stayed open.

Adding Kendall Fuller by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
