They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Caleb Williams is the Bears' quarterback, full stop. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

The Jones value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The cost of the Solomon reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

With edge rusher, running back and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on OLB-EDGE is the choice that costs them. A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
