There is reaching, and then there is Marcus Harris at pick 249. The 49ers jumped the board by 54 and dared it to prove them wrong. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

Ransom falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
