Larceny in Round 7, Pick 14 lands the 49ers a B+, Schwesinger and all.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The 49ers watched Carson Schwesinger slide 145 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

Burch has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Adding Jalen Ramsey by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.

Jordan Burch at the 66th overall pick is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. It fills a real need, too.

A reach for Hollin Pierce in pick 99; a little patience would have been rewarded. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

Jake Majors at No. 112 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the offensive lineman. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.

They read the board right and Darius Alexander was the payoff at the 138th pick. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
