The 49ers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Nicholas Singleton, the No. 107 name on the board, in Round 7, Pick 17. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

They are betting Foster proves the room right and everyone else wrong. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.
