You build a draft on nights like this. Woody Marks had no business being available in No. 249, and the 49ers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Every board in the league had Riley lower, and that gap is the story.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
