Flashes of a plan, unevenly run, for the 49ers: C+.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The 49ers did exactly that with J.C. Davis in slot 228. A weekend of give and take that grades a C+.

The Mbow pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
