Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Clay Webb at the 189th pick is 62 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Martinez. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
