There was a run on nobody at that position, and the 49ers started one anyway for Sai'vion Jones, 83 picks ahead of schedule. No fireworks, but a solid B.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Edwards. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
