It is the swing that defines the weekend: Cornelius Johnson in the 131st overall pick, a good 55 spots before the room expected him.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. With interior defensive lineman, quarterback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
