The 49ers torched the value chart for Jasheen Davis, taking him 106 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. It is not that Burke is a bad player; it is that the 49ers had louder needs to answer first.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
