Paul Jr. should have been long gone. The 49ers pounced, and earned a B+.

When a board-topper like Chris Paul Jr. slides to No. 230, you do not overthink it, and the 49ers did not. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The Toia reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
