Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Jay Toia at the 256th overall pick is 119 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

The Smith pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
