The war room fell hard for Jackson Hawes, and it showed at the Round 6 slot: 75 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They will answer for taking cornerback early while quarterback, edge rusher and other spots went begging.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
