The board owed the 49ers one, and it paid up: Kevin Winston Jr., the No. 90 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 4 slot like a gift left on the doorstep. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Reaching for Conner left real value on the table behind him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver.
