The Lions cashed the board's mistake on King: B.

Call it larceny. Kobe King sat on the board until pick 194, and the Lions did not need to be asked twice. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They are betting Griffith proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.

They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. With cornerback, quarterback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on interior defensive lineman is the choice that costs them.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
